camper together hanam

retail store design / starfield hanam / korea / 2019

the concept of camper together hanam, a collaboration between camper and jaehuh & co, is “echo.” through mirrors, visitors can view their reflections as visual echoes. while a pair of shoes is often perceived as identical, each shoe—left and right—has opposing shapes. this contrast is expressed in the space through mirrors.
through reflection, a red space emerges. in reality, it is simply the reverse side of a white room, yet the mirror transforms it into an illusory extension allowing the space to feel expanded beyond its physical boundaries.
